I’m the Associate Director of Platform Engineering at CareTria, where I get paid to care about things like scalability and yet somehow still end up debugging YAML on a Saturday.

Outside of work I’m a certified technology enthusiast — if it has a chip, a firmware, or blinks in a way it probably shouldn’t, I’m interested. Current obsessions include WLED and 3D printing.

When I’m not tinkering, I’m hanging out with my partner in crime: my dog, who has strong opinions about my project queue.

CsvHelper.Excel.ClosedXml.Remix

View on NuGet

An implementation of
ICsvParser
and
ICsvSerializer
from CsvHelper that reads and writes through the ClosedXML library, letting you work with Excel files using CsvHelper’s familiar API instead of hand-rolling OpenXML or interop code.

This library is a fork of an existing library that is no longer updating.

MvcValidationExtensions

View on NuGet

A set of additional client and server-side validation attributes for ASP.NET MVC, extending the framework’s built-in validation. It integrates with jQuery Unobtrusive Validation for client-side checks and includes validators such as
RequiredIfEmpty
.

Over its life the package saw 200,000+ downloads across the ASP.NET MVC community.

Resume

https://github.com/NickBranstein
